Secret machines

Good show. The hipster next to me asked, "isn't pink floyd dead?" but I think it's a pretty weak comparison. Besides, he's too young to talk about pink floyd...pf takes me back to rainy days in 3rd grade...Ms. Elam would turn out the lights at recess, put on her copy of "the wall" and soon a whole room full of 3rd graders would be chanting, "dark sarcarsm in the classroom...." I'm sure she sang the loudest when it came to "leave them kids alone" which is what endeared her to my heart - well that and the field trip to her house wherein she showed me her heart shaped tub - but that's another story....
Anyway, Secret Machines = good.

added quotes for clarity and put up a secret machines song to the right - so you can have a listen. Oh and...ok, I admit, that 'pharoah's daughter' does sound a little like floyd....

I think the most amazing thing about this post is that you had a THIRD grade teacher that would turn off the lights and put on PF. If any teacher did that today, their asses would be job hunting.

No kidding, and I still can't believe we took a field trip to her house! I mean, what did the permission slip for that look like?

"Dear Mr. or Mrs. Hansen, Can your son come over to my house?"

Sheesh!
(oh, did I mention she was about 25 and hot?)

i challenge anyone to take a trip to a dormatory where kids still eat acid and listen to the wall and stare at their stereo for ooooh, eight hours straight.

pink floyd...is not dead.
