Pop Songs for Owls

maxell_xl_2_90.jpg

I love this.
I used to be all maxell xII 90's for my mix tapes, then I went thru this fujitsu period, with a brief Denon phase before, well, before the end of mix tapes....

Your tape of choice?

transparent tapes so you can see when it gets all mangled inside- like maxell and denon with a label on the bottom.

I always used the black TDK tapes:

i'm w/ e! the clear Fuji cassette tapes. i'd record my fav songs from Casey Kasem's top 40 and paint the cassettes with nail polish or put star stickers all over them. songs i really really loved I'd record three times, one after another, in order to hear just that song so we could sing the words.
domo arigato mr. roboto...
celebrate good times, come on, show 'em how we do it now, shake your groove tang, yeah yeah...

what's a "tape"???

...anything with screws in it to open the case, flip the tape around and listen to it backwards...nothing like trying to find robert plant screaming "here's to my sweet satan"...just all around good, clean, christian fun...
