I've always wanted to be one of those people that are never surprised by anything. I've always wanted to feel like I "figured it out" or somehow "knew" it was going to happen.

Got surpised this week by a lay off.
Guess I have to start researching beaches again...

Out of office automatic replies. Great idea aren't they? Let's people that email you know that you won't be responding right away, that you're out of the office.
I especially like the ones I get that reference the person being out of the office for dates that are way in the past. I bet those people never check their voicemail either....
I cracked up.

Look for the 5/20 entry. I'd link directly but Uncle Willy's archives are busted.
Sometimes I get excited about the idea of having a bunch of rentals bringing in extra income.
Then I have to deal with the tree that's dying and needs to be removed, the roof that needs to be replaced and the fact that my tenants are 2 months late on rent.
Argh.
